Q-PAC packing solutions offer a different approach to addressing the demands of tower packing processes. Unlike conventional structured tower packings, Q-PAC stacks into smaller tower diameters and consumes less space while providing greater efficiency. Q-PAC tower packings have lower pressure drop and higher flow rates than older styles of tower packings. They also feature small mist eliminators for removing smaller particles during wet scrubber applications.
Q-PAC tower packings feature a unique bar-and-rod design that allows high flow rates without compromising performance. The patented structure is capable of producing millions of small droplets and expanding the surface area for liquid-gas contact.

Pall Rings vs. Q-PAC
A Pall Ring has a long, cylindrical shape with crossbars in the middle, dividing its entire circumference into separate radii. Conversely, Q-PAC has a hexagonal shape with multiple horizontal bars divided by one vertical bar in the middle. In terms of performance, the Q-PAC has a lower packing volume than Pall Rings. It also supports smaller tower diameters, mist eliminators and recirculation pumps than Pall Rings and Tri-Packs®.
